We specialize in controlling mosquitoes, flies, fleas, ticks, spiders, and all other outdoor pests in the area.
Yes, we use safe and environmentally-friendly pest control chemicals that are non-toxic for children and pets and are specifically labeled for insect misting systems. To quote the EPA's website on our chemicals: "Based on its assessment, using toxicity data and exposure estimates, EPA does not expect risks of concern to humans when these chemicals are used in outdoor residential systems according to labeling specific for use in these systems."
Our system operates automatically several times a day during the peak times to kill mosquitoes. We use an active ingredient that is formulated to break down very quickly in the environment. It lasts for 2-3 hours, then becomes inert, and then another misting happens at the next scheduled peak time. In short, our system does not leave a chemical residue lingering in your yard 24/7 for weeks at a time and isn't subject to dilution by rain and sprinkler systems.
No it will not. It will control them to a level that you no longer notice them. But mosquitoes are constantly seeking less populated sites where there is less competition for food and shelter and they will continuously drift into your yard from surrounding areas.
This depends on where you're located and the surrounding topography (wetlands, marshes, heavily wooded areas, etc). The only way we can give you a solid answer is to come out and evaluate your site.
Again, this depends on your site topography. We can't give you an answer without looking at it.
A female mosquito in the Horry, Georgetown county area lays between 1,000 - 3,000 eggs during her lifetime.
About 3 weeks
No. Only female mosquitoes bite. They draw blood to incubate their eggs. Male mosquitoes aren't able to bite as their proboscis are feather like are not evolved to penetrate.
The most important thing you can do is to remove all sources of standing water. Empty buckets, prop up wheelbarrows, anything you can thing of to remove their breeding grounds.
This is certainly an option but it will only eliminate the mosquitoes it contacts when you run it. The goal is to effectively control the mosquito population so you don't notice them. This is why our systems are set to run automatically. We site our nozzles to cover the areas where mosquitoes breed and shelter, catching them where they congregate, and giving you the most effective control possible.
